Although we are a boating organization by name, the North Brooklyn Boat Club does more than just provide access to our local waterways. We are also involved with addressing, and trying to solve, the ecological issues that surround us and embracing the rich nautical history that preceded us. To effectively involve the local community in environmental education, awareness and remediation, we run and partner with a number of organizations on creative and worthwhile projects. We invite you to help out with any of the projects below or contact us if you have a project that may fit well with our mission.
