Here is a sneak peak at some of the upcoming and exciting things happening with NBBC this September:

1. Public Paddles

No membership or sign ups require. Just show up to the boatyard and hop in a canoe or kayak with our certified trip leaders for a small excursion towards the East River. A great opportunity to get out on the water and see the boatyard in person. No experience required!

2. Greenpoint Film Festival

NBBC is proud to be partnering with the Greenpoint Film Festival to present an hour of films/videos about boating on, exploring and the ecology of the estuary on the opening night of the festival. Reception, screening and panel discussion included. Sea you there!

Thursday Sept. 19th, 6-9 pm. Location on West St. near American Playground.

3.  Fall Equinox Party

If you missed this year’s Solstice Party or heard about last year’s Rock the Pulaski, this is your chance to fully enjoy a night on the creek with a healthy serving of food, drinks, and live music. All proceeds go towards supporting the North Brooklyn Boat Club, so save the date bring some friends and show your love!
