Opening Day 2017! Sunday May 21!

This Sunday, May 21, 2 PM – 8 PM, we’re ditching the dry suits for a sunny and beautiful 2017 opening day!

So come down to the the Broadway Stages Boatyard and party like only NBBC can!

Join us to celebrate the opening of the 2017 paddling season with live music, grilled goodies, cheap drinks, and fire — and maybe even boating!

The temps have dropped, and paddling for the general membership has ended, but there’s still plenty going on at the boatyard.

Now’s a perfect time to join or renew your membership for 2015 and take advantage of our Nautical Crafts Programming: boat restoration, paddle carving, spoon carving, knitting, survival skills, sea shantiesbook club, knot tying, chart reading, wood turning.

You can be creator, not just a consumer!

Check the calendar for scheduled events or come down to boatyard for a visit. Sit and stoke the fire. Inspiration will strike.

No experience required, beginners welcome.
